This is a nice one piece 1812-1815 Infantry button. It has United States Infantry written around the outside rim of the front of the button. And it has a well marked back mark; Giles/Richards. The button is missing its shank. And has small rim damage on the top left hand rim. But still a great button. It matches the button on page 24 in the Albert book. Its button #40 B. This is a button you don't see often
