1800's Buffalo Head Match Holder

This is a nice item. This is a Civil War period Buffalo Head  match holder. This would of hung next to a fireplace to hold matches. Ive seen these before, but they were made of brass. The neat thing about this, is that it is carved out of wood. The Buffalo head is very well detailed and took some time to make it look this detailed. You can see it has a darked aged brown color to it. It looks very nice for its age.
