This is a nice 1840's N.C.O. sword. That is dated 1862. Its scabbard is missing the brass tip. And somebody in the past has put electrical tape on it. Not real sure if the soldier put it on  or not. Just kidding. But the rest of the scabbard is in good shape. The blade is in great shape. And all together a nice sword.                        $365.00

This is a very well marked 1865 Cavalry Saber by Mansfield & Lamb of Rhode Island. It is an original Civil War era cavalry saber in the scabbard. The 1860 pattern was the most carried style during the Civil War. This has the full-length blade. And at the base of the front of the blade is the production date of 1865 along with the "US" mark and the inspector initials of "G.W.C.". On the back of the blade is the maker's mark of the Mansfield & Lamb Company of Forrestdale, Rhode Island. the guard and pommel cap have a great look to them. And the pommel cap you can see the partial "CEW" inspector stamp still visible. The wire and leather handle is original with a great look. The scabbard is in great shape also.                                            $795.00
